Review from the perspective of a casual collector of video games: is the C64 worth buying today? A short run-down of the history, pros and cons of the games and system, what to look for and be aware of when buying, as well as some of the other 8-bit computers from Jack Tramiel era Commodore. Many that played PC DOS games in the 90’s remember Alien Carnage/Halloween Harry. But what about the sequel for Windows 3.1? Zombie Wars deserves a look, but it’s rather hard-to-find. Yet here it is, in top review form! Zombie Wars for Windows PCs
There are tons of great weapons in games. But some rise above the rest and for whatever reason they just blow away the competition. Why? I don’t know, this is totally subjective but it’s something I’ve noticed and is just a list for fun. This is the top 17 most satisfying and gratifying PC game weapons I’ve come across. Games were chosen on the basis of that intangible feeling of awesomeness that I got when playing them. Whether it be from sound, visual feedback, “feel”, etc. Why 17? Because it’s an odd number, very odd.
My video review of Key’s eldest visual novel title, Kanon. Enjoy! For those unaware, you need a copy of the Japanese version of the Kanon PC game to play the English translation. After installing the game, you need the patch you can find here: radicalr.pestermom.com You can find Kanon for sale at places like www.paletweb.com on the web.

SC2K is an undeniable classic. But time seems to have forgotten this ill-fated multiplayer version of the ultimate city simulator. Long before the online antics of Spore or The Sims Online, there was Network Edition. Sim City 2000 Network Edition for Windows 95 PCs
Well, I couldn’t wait to play this game back in 2002 (not something I say about many games) and the anticipation was actually deserved. It surpassed my expectations in graphical terms, in control and ease of use over lightsaber combat and force powers. With a decent story, decent voice acting and a good variety of levels this game still feels like a Dark Forces game only BETTER. That’s no easy thing to do and I thoroughly hope they continue this great series in the future.
