Classic Game Room HD - EVERQUEST 2: SENTINEL’S FATE for PC review

July 28th, 2010

Classic Game Room HD reviews EVERQUEST 2 SENTINEL’S FATE Collector’s Edition for PC. This never ending quest takes you across a massive fantasy world where you embark on quests, missions and slaughter helpless lizards without mercy. Those who want to get their money’s worth out of a massive MMORPG should check out Ever Quest 2. This CGR review of Everquest II has gameplay from Everquest 2 showing Ever Quest II game play on a PC laptop. EQ2 has a gigantic following with thousands of players across the world. Team up with others and make new friends or just go it alone. Drink beer and hack bird-people things (that what CGR does). The Sentine’s Fate Collector’s Edition comes with a figuring and in-game mount. The gigantic EQ2 box also contains EverCracked, a DVD about the Everquest phenomenon. 30 day subscription to the Everquest 2 servers as well. This massive game has something like 8000 quests and 300 zones to explore… seriously, that’s a lot of video game. From Sony Online Entertainment. Rated T for Tuff.

Question for you EQ2 players, if I absolutely love the game Champions Of Norrath and its sequel Champions: Return To Arms on the PS2, will I enjoy playing EQ2? Like, does EQ2 have fun caves/dungeons, secret areas to explore and find hidden treasure chests to get rare loot and stuff. And epic bosses I can find to solo for items. Awesome spells and power animations, ect?

Cuz I need a new mmo to play, and I’ve never tried this one out yet =P

The RPG’s on consoles are nothing compared to EQ2. I was always looking for something that let me go essentially anywhere and everywhere. EQ2 does that. The graphics with a decent card are far more realistic than the cartoonish graphics I have seen playing WOW. Compared to EQ1 the 3d artwork and models are far better and for the guy who compared it to second life? You obviously have never created a second life avatar in a 3d Modeling program I have, EQ2 is NOTHING like Second life or WOW

@nikolaikri IMO, EQ2 looks very good for it’s age (6 years). And again, IMO, EQ2 is the best MMO out right now. It’s not all about making it to max level and do raids ala WoW, it has a good structure for communities like guild halls, player housing, etc.
